Jake Howard your Green Party Candidate for Banbury Cross and Neithrop   About Jake Howard

Having worked for charities in client-facing roles in the care homes and homeless projects, Jake has always had a strong affinity in helping people. He also has personal experience in dealing with mental health having been diagnosed with bipolar condition in 2003 and considers mental health a huge factor in general health and wellbeing and has advocated for others, supporting them to find appropriate resources.

He has also worked in hospitality, retail and latterly in trades as both a landscape gardener and most recently as a carpenter. This diversity in work life gives him both a well-rounded, but grounded view of how it is to live and work in today’s struggling economy.

A father of two, who has been actively involved in both local and national activism and political campaigns since 2010, he would like to take the next step to represent the people of Banbury Cross and Neithrop by becoming a Councillor in Cherwell District.
