Linda moved to Kidlington over 25 years ago to take up a senior post in cancer research administration at Oxford University. She played an active role in local campaigns to protect the Oxford Green Belt from inappropriate development. She joined the Green Party about four years ago and was elected to Kidlington Parish Council in October 2023. Currently she represents St Mary’s Ward and sits on the Development and Strategy Committee.

Linda is also a trustee of Oxfordshire Badger Group, a small wildlife conservation charity. She helped the charity purchase a small ancient and semi-ancient wood (ASNW) on Cumnor Hill close to Oxford City. The wood is now protected from any risk of development or exploitation. It is being managed to increase biodiversity and as a haven for wildlife. In her spare time, Linda is happily retired.
