He sits on the following committees:
Damien was born in Luton, to Irish and Chinese parents, he grew up in Carterton and Bampton, Oxfordshire. He joined the British Army, at age 17, serving until he was 22. He has lived in Bicester since 2015 and in the Graven Hill area for the last 5 years, which he considers a “great community”. He is married, has an adult daughter and son, and has worked as an insurance broker for twenty years.
Damien has been quoted as describing himself as: “ignorant, humble, curious, and a paradox”. He is an avid reader, especially of books that “make him think about life and the world around him”. He likes long walks, bumping into people for chats, and games of backgammon with his wife.
Damien believes people should enjoy life more. He encourages people to slow down, to look around and see more: “They would be happier and more grateful.” He likes to help “those less fortunate, people who are being left behind.”
