Andrew Prosser

Andrew is a District Councillor, representing the ward of Witney North, and is a member of the West Oxfordshire District Council Executive, holding the Climate Action and Nature Recovery portfolio. He is also a member of the Council’s Lowlands Planning committee.

Andrew joined the Green Party in 2019, and was elected as a Witney Town Councillor that year, serving on the Town Council until 2023. He was first elected to the District Council in 2021, and re-elected in 2024. Andrew has lived and worked in Witney for over 25 years.

In his day job, Andrew runs his own small business, helping international companies measure and reduce their climate impacts.

Andrew started his career in manufacturing industry, working in marketing and supply chain management in Germany. He began working with environmental technologies and innovations over 25 years ago, helping to launch new products, and help companies move into the growing renewable energy sector.
